The vision system for blister machines
The vision system for thermoforming and forming machines
Harleblister is the colour vision system for the inspection of oral solids on blister thermoforming machines.
The system can perform a wide range of control on product within blister cavities as product presence, colour, shape, dimensions, integrity, mix-up, foreign body presence. The system can furthermore perform additional controls on blister package as Alucode, PQV, OCV/OCR variable data and blister completeness controls.
Harleblister is the SEA Vision solution studied for customers who want to inspect 100% tablets and capsules on blistering machine during the packaging processes.
It can be installed on all kind of equipment existing on the market. The system is composed by cameras and a software performing different controls on the products, with the goal to determine the quality of each blister produced on the machine. Harleblister control every unit passing under cameras: depending on the results of the reading, the system indicates if the blister is good or must be rejected.

HARLEBLISTER FEATURES
Products inspected
Harleblister is designed to handle solid dose products, among them the main are: |

Harleblister can operate on any type of thermoformable material: |

Harleblister – operative principles
Each camera acquires an image of the product and on that the software performs different measurements, according to the previously configured controls. The values measured for each object are compared with reference values and, even if only one of these is outside the permissible tolerance range, the blister containing the defective object is rejected.
Harleblister uses RGB cameras for the image acquisition; the image is transformed into monochrome for geometric parameters verification to maximize image contrast and the precision of the control.
Harleblister executes first the searching of the products into the cavities and then the product measurements. The operation of product searching inside the cavity entails processing the portion of image concerning the cavity to determine the presence of the object. Images is reconstructed, for a complete view of the object.

HARLEBLISTER – POSSIBLE CONTROLS
Harleblister can perform controls both on the product and on the blister package, like:
- Controls on the single products (Tablet / Capsule), like correct dimensions, colour, shape, integrity
- Controls on the blister: presence and quantity of products inside the cavities, blister correct sealing, presence of powders on blister
Moreover, harleblister supports multi-functional cameras to perform additional combined controls on the blister, like:
- Check of printed data OCV/OCR
- Check of codes (barcodes, 2D codes and alpha-numeric codes)
- Print quality verification (PQV)
- Alucode (checks the correctness of the closing material reel reading a code printed on it)
- Additional specific controls by means of programmable measures tool
Harletray is the colour vision system dedicated for the inspection of components in tray on thermoforming and forming machines.
The system can perform a wide range of control on product within tray as product presence, colour, integrity, correct assembly. The system can furthermore perform additional control on tray as Alucode, PQV, OCV/OCR, variable data and tray completeness controls. Harletray is the SEA Vision solution studied for customers who want to inspect 100% product (e.g. syringes, bottles, vials, ampoules, cartridges, medical devices and more) inside tray.
It can be installed on all kind of equipment existing on the market. The system is composed by cameras and a software performing different controls on the products, with the goal to determine the quality of each tray produced on the machine. Harletray control every unit passing under cameras: depending on the results of the reading, the system indicates if the blister is good or must be rejected.
